Is this a good way to start explaining about memory management of optical disk drive?

In memory management, optical disk drive is often referred to as a secondary storage because it performs read and/or write operations on to the disc slowly. It is also removable media storage since it prevents data from being lost in a removable media when power is turned off. Optical disk drive is a non-violate memory because it will retain the data even if the power is off. In a CD-Rom, DVD-ROMs and BD-Rom (Blue-ray Rom) drive, it can read data that is already encoded as it can read and access data number of times but it can’t be overwritten
