Best Place to learn Surfing around Brisbane?

Surfers Paradise would be your best. I see a guy take out several tourists often there. He takes maybe 6 or 10 people and has them doing things on the sand first before heading into the waves. I think he is based just across the road from the main entrance of the beach.It's schoolies week on the 20th November, Wow that's a place you want to stay away from unless you don't mind being invaded by thousands of school leavers.
