Are we responsible for the dead celebrities?

Elvis, Michael Jackson, Princess Di, John Lennon. The pressures of fame killed each one. What is fame but the collection of all of us. Do we bear a collective responsiblity. Did we buy the magazines. Were we too fickle. Did we expect too much.
