Can anyone help with this problem please.?

They sound like red spider mites. They are usually found on sunny bricks and walls, and are harmless to us, and are a distinct animal- a mite, not a spider. However, in some species, they are a serious pest to gardners and farmers, and can kill plants in large numbers. They thrive in hot, dry conditions in places like greenhouses, so parking the car in a garage or shady spot may help a bit, as well as cooling it with the air-con. There isn't really much to do about them in houses or vehicles, and it could be that wherever your daughter got her flowers has some red mites. I hope this helps.
