Possible ant problem?

carpenter ants fall under wood destroying insects so it would be in the best interest of the landlord to have the insects treated to protect his investment...saying that what you are seeing that looks like chewed wood is probably just their shed "cocoon"...it looks like wood chips and more times than not carpenter ants aren't doing any damage to a home
