Can i use sour cream instead of whipped cream when making a frozen cheesecake?

i am thinking about making a frozen cheesecake but every recipe i ind has whipped cream in it. i don�t have any o it at home and can�t go to the shop. but i have sour cream is it possible to use it instead?
