Entire house waking up with crusty eyes. Conjunctivitis?

I have had conjunctivitis which is the medical term for pink eye. It is very contagious. The reason why it is in both eyes is because it spreads from people touching or rubbing the infected eye, and then touching the other. You will need an antibiotic for this which is usually eye drops in order for it to go away. A easy way to get the crusty stuff ( dried puss ) off is to take a warm wash cloth and wipe your eyes starting from the inside corner out. If you have children you may want to notify the school so they can give other parents a heads up about what is going on being that it is VERY contagious, and kids do not know about these things and end up spreading it from one another..
